I'm an event planner and I used this product (several of them, actually) as centerpieces on one of my seaside-themed events. None of the lighthouses I used will ever see the outdoors, but they looked great on my tables!

Very nicely made. It would have been better if they had used a AA nicad battery instead of a AAA nicad battery, the light would stay on longer at night. But over all, a very nice light.
Don't purchase this product.

I agree with the last review. First, this lighthouse was delivered broken. The company is supposed to be sending a replacement but as of yet have not seen it.As the other person stated, we have tried powering the lighthouse up, changed batteries and still it has not came on. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I bought this lighthouse and let it charge, per the instuctions, and it worked one, maybe two days. Just long enough for me to throw away the box and packaging. I recharged it, changed the batteries over and over but it never really worked again. I bought a different one at Walmart and threw this one in the trash. The price today shows $50.00 but I only paid $30.00 and it was $29.99 too much.
